How many JW's are doing bad things each year worthy of being DF'd?
by dissed infor a religious group that claims to be above reproach, with a self proclaimed, excellent reputation for godliness, i don't feel that claim is quite true.. in fact, i think its a sham to make those assertions.
they trully should not feel they are different from any organized group, when it comes to its members following righteous standards.
true, the wt would like all to believe they are clean and morally straight, that they are different and not tainted from the world.

As a Witness - What did you Notice in How Elders Got Appointed ?
by flipper ini found it amazing being raised in the witnesses to see exactly who got appointed sometimes as an elder.
it seemed that the criteria in my opinion had more to do with getting 10 hours a month in field service, answering at meetings, carrying microphones as a ministerial servant, or handling the magazine or literature counter !
in doing these " functions " and attending meetings on a regular basis - a man was thought to be considered " spiritually strong " and qualify to be an elder and serve on judicial committees judging people's personal problems.

There should be rules to where you can't be an elder or ministerial servant; and have close family that are the same rank in the same congregations. It can create favoritism and a conflect of insterest.

Should a DF'd person lie to get reinstated?
by DT insuppose someone is wrongfully disfellowshipped and is unable to appeal successfully.
suppose he still believes in the watchtower society and tries to get reinstated as soon as possible.
imagine that the elders want to make sure that he is repentant by insisting that he shows remorse for what he is accused of doing.

I agree with D.T because my ex-girlfriend lied in the backroom;to where I told the the truth.

Did you wish the elders took you under there wing.
by Pitchess Co-Gen ini wanted to be an one of the brothers the elders took under there wing, but i had to much baggage ( reproved 3 times and currently d.f ).
yes i've seen elders take m.s'es and turn them into elders.
i had a friend who was an m.s an elder took him and now he's an elder.
